Members of EPL have approximately 40,000 items from which to choose. Newspapers, magazines, and the popular "Blue Book" or NADA Used Car Guides are also available. Audio Books — EPL has a large and growing collection of audio books in cassette and compact disc formats. These "books" are great for the vision impaired, physically disabled, as well as for those who are commuting long distances. Children's / Juvenile — EPL has a special section for children from babies through 6th grade. This collection includes fiction, non-fiction, books, audio, videos, DVDs, and read-along books. Large Print Books — EPL has a growing collection of large print books which include best sellers, mystery, romance, westerns, biographies, and non-fiction. Magazines — EPL has a variety of magazines for use in the library only. Back issues may be requested at the circulation desk. Music — These are in CD format with many types of music including country, gospel, rock, bluegrass, pop, jazz, children's, etc. Checkouts are limited to 4 per family. Study Guides — For a deposits of up to $25, ASVAB, GED, and other study guides in our College and Career section may be checked out with a library card . Your cash deposit will be returned to you upon return of the book in good condition. YA — Materials for 7th graders through college freshman collection include fiction, non-fiction, magazines, audio, and videos. Also available for checkout: screen, overhead projector, Polaroid camera, and audio-cassette player. Typewriters are available for in-library use. Educational videos and DVDs are available for a one-week checkout. The collection includes titles for children, teens, and young adults with a limit of 4 per family. |
