The following paid holidays are observed by the City of Enterprise:

• New Year's Day - January 1
• Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
• Presidents Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day - July 4
• Labor Day - First Monday in September
• Columbus Day
• Veterans' Day - November 11 (Mandated by Section 1-3-8, Code of Alabama, 1975)
• Thanksgiving Day and following day - Fourth Thursday in November and following Friday
• Christmas - December 24 and 25
• Other days as City Council proclaims

When a holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday, the holiday shall be observed on the following Monday, except for Veterans' Day.  If Veterans' Day falls on Saturday, the holiday shall be observed on the preceeding Friday; if it falls on Sunday, it shall be observed on the following Monday.
