Attention Golfers This is a reminder of the upcoming Fall Golf Season for 2012. We still have several openings in the Golf Clinic as well as the Golf League. As you may already know, after your child has completed 2 Golf Clinics, he/she is eligible to join the Golf League and further the ability of the game. We will begin the clinics on Monday, September 10 at 4:30/5:30pm according to age. The clinic price is $45. We will also begin the Golf League on Saturday, September 8 at 3pm. The league price is $75. We meet at the Driving Range at Tartan Pines. Registration is taken at the Enterprise Parks and Recreation Center Monday thru Friday. Parks & Recreation Junior Golf League results for 3-27-11Two teams tied for the top spot Saturday at Tartan Pines Golf Club with a team score of 39.Hunter Hadden Matthew Doyle Cassie Peacock Tristen Ezell Christiana Hall Mary Light Brody Skeen Cayla Vanalstine Lucas Doyle Next weeks League play will begin at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Tartan Pines Golf Club. ›š The Enterprise Parks and Recreation Department Junior Golf League closed out the Spring 2010 Season with the final match played at Tartan Pines Golf Club. The final match was followed by the season ending awards ceremony on the Tartan patio that include pizza and cake for the players and parents. It was a great season with 4 teams competing for the championship. The League played their matches every Saturday afternoon at host course Tartan Pines Golf Club. The winning team was captained by Caleb Eberle with teammates Will Hanson and Frankie Turner. This three man team consistently set the pace for the league, highlighted by a low round of 36 in week 7. The runner up team consisted of team captain Dallas Day, Alex McDonough and Keegan Moore finishing the season strong by winning the final match of the season with an outstanding 37. The remaining team players keeping pace with some outstanding golf include Ryan Nagy, Brantley Box, Mary Light, Whit Miller, Tyler Stephenson, Kailey Powell, Clayton Woodham and Christina Hall. The local Team Sponsors responsible for helping make this one of a kind Junior League possible included the Mitchell Automotive Group, Enterprise Park & Sell, Discount Home Sales, Dowling Tractor, and Dowco Rental.
